This meeting’s special guest speaker is John Cole-Morgan (who is coming to us all the way from the UK) and it promises to be a really entertaining and enriching experience. New quilters or old, I think this is one to look forward to! If you don’t know anything about him, watch this introductory video he has created on YouTube.
Aside from John’s talk as the guest speaker, he will also be one of several amazing teachers who will be teaching us some new skills. Lisé has put together a wonderful review in the newest newsletter. If you haven’t read it yet, you’re missing out! Again, tickets for the classes can be booked on the Tixsa website.
If you’re not too keen to join a class, then take the opportunity to finish one of those WIP’s in the company of others who are doing the same. Alternatively, sit in the garden and enjoy the scenery…there’s something available for everyone! We’ll also have a fabulous quilt display for you to enjoy and a wide variety of vendors selling their wares.
Overall this promises to be a weekend of good fun, with great food and some time to connect (or reconnect) with friends.
