It is with great excitement that I write this blog.
The Festival committee have secured Skogheim, Izotsha for a weekend 12-14 November 2021, of bliss, unity, and escapism for us quilters. This is a 2024 Festival fund raiser, and we would love your support. We will have seven wonderful teachers where learning new techniques together and sharing our love for quilting will be uninterrupted for an entire weekend. We will have many of your beautiful quilts on display that you have all made during lockdown, so please enter them into the LOCAL IS LEKKER competition. All KZNQG members get a 25% discount on the quilt entry fee. This coupon will be emailed to each of you via TIXSA, our booking agent.
Skogheim is a beautiful venue on the South Coast near Port Shepstone. You will love their facilities and their delicious meals. Sewing, sewing and more sewing the entire weekend with your friends of which many you haven’t seen in more than a year.
Strict covid protocol will be adhered to so we don’t need to worry about that and hopefully we will all have been vaccinated by November and herd immunity will have be reached. The accommodation is two people per room, so let us know when you book, who you want to share this. Places are limited so please book soon.
