Quilters-by-the-Sea is a group of quilters who meet monthly in a home in the Durban North area. We are limited to 9 members. Our aim is to stitch together, grow together and enjoy our hobby together. We work on group projects which will either be sold off to raise funds for further projects or donated to worthy charities. Members all belong to KZNQG and support the guild wherever possible.
Last year the group completed nearly 23 quilts for the Love Quilt project. 2023 is focusing on a quilt to enter into the International quilt Festival in 2024. Anyone interested in going on the waiting list are welcome to email: bernina@berninadbn.co.za and ask to be added to the list. Should we get many more enquiries and we can find a venue which can accommodate more than 10 sewers comfortably we would consider growing the group further.
