Take a trip to the South Coast to visit the Pleasuretime Quilters. They host a workshop every first Thursday of the month at 10am, usually putting into practice the demo seen at the previous month’s meeting.

The Royal Show
This year there will be a judged quilting section at The Royal Show. Each entry will get a critique and you stand the chance to win a spectacular coveted rosette! Now, is that not enough to set your creative quilting wheels in motion?
Our categories are:
Bed Quilt (no side shorter than 1.30m or longer than 2.50m.)
Wall Quilt (no side shorter than 30cm and no side longer than 2.00m)
Cot/Lap quilt (no side longer than 1.50m)
These quilts will all be eligible to be entered into next year’s Voices in
Cloth Festival. There will be no entry fee.
All you need to do is email
marline@iafrica.com with your:
1. Name
2. Phone number
3. Category you are entering and
4. Title of your quilt.
Get ready for Izotsha
Izotsha Red and White Quilt Challenge
The Izotsha Quilting retreat takes place from 1 – 3 September 2023
RED AND WHITE BED QUILTS REQUIRED.
• The quilt may be any bed size.
• The quilt must have only red and white fabrics.
• Any technique or combination of techniques can be used.
• Any materials can be used but must consist of three layers.
• The entry must be able to be hung on a wall for display.
• The quilt may be your own design, or a design derived from using elements from the public domain.
• The quilt can be a copy of another quilt/artwork or made from a commercial quilt pattern.
