People save all the fabric scraps and give them to one of KZNQG’s committee members who is also a member of Queensburgh Quilters – Lorette Kerr. She then either buys second hand or makes pillow cases/cushion covers out of donated fabric, and fills the cushion covers with the fabric scraps. The pillows are donated to animal welfare organisations such as SPCA, to use for the animals in their kennels.
